This year, there is a new brand coming called Haval. Haval is basically part of the Great Wall brand – another Chinese make. Great Wall is the largest manufacturer of SUVs in China and now those SUVs will bear the Haval badging. Haval will only be dealing in SUVs – for now at least. Haval became independent in 2013, but it is still under Great Wall.

Haval has launched the teaser above for their marketing in the UAE. They also launched a website for this region, and as of now, people can access Haval at www.yearofthesuv.com. The website boasts about the brand's story so far by emphasizing how the SUVs launched in China and then moved to other places in the world like Australia and South Africa, and now the brand is coming to the Middle East.

There is also a social media page for the brand that is aptly titled Haval UAE. You can find more teaser images marketing the key features of the cars. One example is posted below.

This image teases the safety aspect of the car. There are other aspects posted on social media as well, including:
- Performance: Haval was in the Top 10 for 3 consecutive years in the Dakar Rally standings.
- Design: Haval won the award for 'China Design Patent.'
- Sales: Haval sold more than 660,000 SUVs in 2015, making it the biggest SUV brand in China for 6 years.
Launch Date
