The UAE Custom Show 2016 is being prepared for its second edition, following a highly successful event last year.
Exhibitions and Activities
Hundreds of new exhibitors will showcase their products related to car modifications and diagnostics. There will be an international pavilion and a designated area for sand vehicles, which are particularly popular in the UAE.

Conference Participation
The organizers of the show are also set to participate in the upcoming SEMA Middle East conference, aimed at business development at the SEMA 2015 in the USA, the largest modification exhibition in the world. This conference serves as a platform for communication with American companies interested in the diagnostics equipment market in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and neighboring countries.
Market Analysis
According to analysts from Frost & Sullivan, the demand for automotive parts in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is expected to reach $16.85 billion by 2020, nearly doubling from $9.5 billion in 2013. The trade value for automotive parts and accessories in the United States was $12 billion in 2014, a 10% increase from 2013.
This figure includes imports of automotive parts, accessories, tires, and engine components valued at $7 billion last year, while exports and re-exports amounted to $5 billion. The UAE is the second-largest consumer market in the aftermarket sector within the Gulf Cooperation Council, following Saudi Arabia.
