The 1000 Miglia Experience in the UAE: A Celebration of Automotive Excellence

Introduction to the 1000 Miglia

The 1000 Miglia, also known as The Most Beautiful Race in the World, is proud to announce its inaugural experience in the Middle East. Set to take place in the UAE from 5th to 9th December 2021, the event is open to a select 100 owners of landmark automobiles, from legendary classics to iconic supercars of the modern era. Over the course of five thrilling days, participants will cross all seven Emirates, driving their cars against the clock while enjoying their cars, the company of fellow attendees, and the finest hospitality.

The History of the 1000 Miglia

The 1000 Miglia is widely recognized as the Most Beautiful Race in the World. Conceived by Giovanni Canestrini, Franco Mazzotti, Aymo Maggi, and Renzo Castagneto on 2nd December 1926, this speed race on open public roads takes place over a route of 1,600 kilometers (equal to 1000 miles) from Brescia to Rome and back. The initial race began on 26th March 1927; 21 hours, 4 minutes, and 48 seconds later it was won by Ferdinando Minoja and Giuseppe Morandi in a Brescia-built OM 665 Superba.

Eligibility for the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2021

For the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2021, three classes of vehicles will be accepted:

• 1000 Miglia Era Class: This exclusive class is for cars that took part or completed the entry in one of the editions held from 1927 to 1957. Registration in the Registro 1000 Miglia is compulsory.
• Post-1000 Miglia Era Class: This class includes sports cars, grand touring, and supercars built from 1958 to 1971 (the founding date of the UAE).
• Supercar 1000 Miglia Travelling Collection Class: This class is dedicated to owners of the latest supercars and hypercars, reflecting the UAE’s passion and appetite for these ultimate dream machines.

2. 6th December, Monday, Leg 2: Dubai to Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain
3. 7th December, Tuesday, Leg 3: Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain to Fujairah
4. 8th December, Wednesday, Leg 4: Fujairah to Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah
5. 9th December, Thursday, Leg 5: Jebel Jais to UAQ, Ajman, to Abu Dhabi
