2015 Jeep Cherokee: Design, Specifications, and Pricing

Introduction
When Jeep unveiled the 2015 Jeep Cherokee at the New York Auto Show, it sparked excitement among fans and enthusiasts. For loyal Jeep followers, the company committed a major faux pas by giving the vehicle a less rugged appearance. Here are the prices and specifications of the 2015 Cherokee.
Exterior Design
The first point of contention revolved around the front of the car, particularly the unique headlights. You can't tell if the vehicle is a Jeep until you see the iconic seven-slot grille. Even then, you might think it resembles a Chinese imitation rather than a Jeep. However, it is indeed a Jeep, and a remarkable one at that.
In the automotive world, if your car design sparks debate and divides opinions between lovers and haters, you've succeeded, and your vehicle will likely sell well. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee managed to achieve this, resulting in significantly increased sales.
Interior Design
We won't discuss the exterior design further, but the rear of the vehicle looks sleek and modern, following the same design language as its larger sibling, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. As for the front, as mentioned, it's a polarizing design—you either love it or hate it. Personally, I'm not a fan, as I tend to resist change and prefer a more classic aesthetic.
Inside, the driver's cabin appears excellent and stylish, resembling the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The materials used are of high quality, and the renowned entertainment system—Uconnect—is the crown jewel of the vehicle. However, is it still easy to hack its computer? It’s worth noting that the 2014 Jeep Cherokee was among the top three cars with easily hackable computers, according to a study by CNN.
Engines and Performance
The 2015 Jeep Cherokee offers two engine options: a 2.4-liter engine and a 3.2-liter engine. However, the 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine is the only option available for the 2015 Jeep Cherokee sold in our region. This engine produces 270 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This combination allows the vehicle to achieve an average fuel consumption of 10 liters per 100 km.
Pricing
The 2015 Jeep Cherokee is currently available for sale in the Gulf countries, with prices starting at 149,900 AED.
