The latest project making waves online comes from the American car modifier Underground Racing. This tuner has upgraded the 2017 Audi R8 by adding a twin-turbo system that boosts power from 800 horsepower to an astonishing 2200 horsepower, depending on the chosen upgrade from six available options.
Comparison with the Standard Version
The standard Audi R8, equipped with a ten-cylinder engine from the German factory, produces 601 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. In comparison, it pales next to the modifications made by Underground Racing.
Available Modifications
The most basic modification offered by the company costs $49,000, providing an impressive 800 horsepower. While this is certainly remarkable, the XT-TT version can deliver 1,200 horsepower using regular fuel and over 2,200 horsepower on race fuel.
