Unveiling the 2017 Renault Koleos
In Paris, the new 2017 Renault Koleos was unveiled, celebrating its global launch. This event attracted media representatives and journalists from around the world, with the Koleos vying for attention against competitors like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.
Design Features
Laurens van den Acker, Senior Vice President of Design, stated, "The new Koleos completes Renault's design renaissance that began with the Clio in 2012. My mission as a designer was to envision an SUV that is not only stylish but also modern and dynamic."
Colors and Exterior Design
The Koleos is available in seven different colors, ranging from white and silver to blue and black metallic. The new design undeniably projects elegance with its wheel arches featuring three distinctive designs.

- Rear departure angle of 26 degrees.
Interior Comfort and Space
Inside the cabin, the similarities between the Koleos and the Talisman become apparent. The length and width of the dashboard create a sense of security and protection, reflecting a sporty character with excellent visibility all around. The vehicle's wheelbase of 2,705 mm provides ample interior space.
Technology and Entertainment Systems
The standard model of the Koleos is equipped with a 4.2-inch (11 cm) display information system with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also features the R-Link 2 system, complete with two additional screens measuring 7 inches horizontally and 8.7 inches vertically.
2017 Koleos Engine
The Koleos is equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, generating 170 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 233 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPM. It features an X-Tronic CVT transmission that delivers 200 Nm of torque at 1,800 RPM, similar to the Nissan X-Trail.
