Introduction
The Range Rover Velar sits between the smaller Range Rover Evoque and the larger Range Rover Sport. As the fourth and latest model in Land Rover's lineup, the Velar has gained significant attention in the automotive world since its first reveal, culminating in its recent unveiling at the Dubai International Motor Show 2017.
Design of the Velar
Land Rover has introduced a new design language with the Range Rover Velar, targeting a younger demographic following the success of the Evoque. The Velar distinguishes itself from other Range Rover models with several unique features, including a lower height and sleek lines that run along the vehicle's body.
Interior Features
The interior of the Velar is heavily influenced by the design of the Jaguar I-PACE, boasting three touchscreens that enhance the driving experience.
Engine Performance
The Velar comes equipped with a 3.0-liter engine that produces 375 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. When driven conservatively, it achieves a fuel consumption rate of 9.4 liters per 100 km. The Velar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
