Introduction
The British automaker Mini has unveiled its all-new Countryman for the 2018 model year. Automotive websites worldwide have reported that this new model is not only the largest vehicle Mini has ever produced but also the most powerful, featuring a robust engine compared to all previous models. However, the distinctive charm associated with Mini cars remains intact in this new offering.
Technical Specifications
This vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, delivering an impressive 231 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It comes with a standard 6-speed manual transmission, with an 8-speed automatic transmission also available. Additionally, the Countryman boasts all-wheel drive capabilities.
Performance
The Countryman accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, whether using the manual or automatic transmission, reaching a top speed of 233 km/h. It features Brembo brakes and comes with 18-inch wheels, with an option for 19-inch wheels. A sport suspension system is also available.
Design
As evident from the images released by the company, the new Countryman showcases two slightly different designs, particularly noticeable in the front and rear lights, as well as the bumpers, although both versions maintain the same size. The olive green variant appears to have a sportier aesthetic compared to the white model.
