The all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a crossover SUV from the Japanese carmaker. It is destined to slot in between the slightly smaller ASX, and the larger 7-seat Outlander. Unlike the other two, however, the design of the Eclipse Cross is a lot more striking and contemporary. The front of the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross gets the characteristic ‘Dynamic Shield’ bumper design. There’s also a pair of stylish LED headlamps, and chrome-plated, dual-slatted front grille along with a deep lower bumper. The steeply raked A and C-pillars give the Eclipse Cross a sporty (coupe-ish) look. The rear fascia will likely divide opinions, with its interesting yet varied combinations of design elements that all seem to be the work of multiple designers.
The cabin of the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is pretty straight-forward, and gets a decent list of standard equipment. It also comes with a big basket of safety features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning with lane-change assist, forward collision mitigation and many more to ensure the safety of its occupants. The quality of the materials and the overall fit and finish is alright, but nothing to write home about.

Motive force for the 2018 Eclipse Cross comes in the form a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 163 HP and 250 Nm of torque. A CVT gearbox sends power from the engine to all four contact patches, and this means that the sprint to 100 km/h is tackled in appx. 9.5 seconds, while top speed is 200 km/h.
