The Bentley Bentayga Speed is a V8 SUV with Drift Mode

Bentley has unveiled the 2026 Bentayga Speed and it is a cracker. Replacing the previous W12 engine, this one instead of inheriting the monstrous hybrid setup from the Continental GT. It’s a good thing though, afterall, who doesn’t like a massive V8 SUV.
Performance Enhancements
The Bentayga Speed features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 delivering 641 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This setup propels the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 193 mph. These are sports car numbers.
The Bentayga Speed also gets a revised Sport mode that increases suspension stiffness by 15%, enhancing handling and driver engagement. Rear-wheel steering and launch control are now standard, contributing to improved agility and acceleration.
It can also be had with a new Sports exhaust setup with dual oval tailpipes and the option to upgrade to an Akrapovič titanium exhaust with quad tailpipes. Yup, you can actually get an Akrapovič exhaust in a Bentley.
We haven’t even got to the party trick: an "ESC Dynamic" setting, allowing for controlled drift angles—a first for the Bentayga lineup. This mode is gonna be so fun. Oh, and it also gets launch control.
Design and Luxury
Visually, the Bentayga Speed distinguishes itself with darker styling accents, a darkened roof, and chrome Speed badging. Buyers can choose between 22- or 23-inch wheels, and both headlamps and rear lights are tinted for a more aggressive appearance.
Inside, the cabin maintains Bentley's signature luxury, featuring Speed-specific displays, numerous Speed logos. The seats and door panels get a gorgeous "Precision Diamond" quilted pattern.
Bentley has stayed coy regarding the prices but expect to pay a big premium over the “standard” Bentayga.
