Say Hello to the Cadillac Escalade IQL

Cadillac has announced the 2026 Escalade IQL, a long-wheelbase version of its electric Escalade IQ, which provides increased interior room while holding onto stunning performance figures.
Expanded Dimensions and Larger Interior
The Escalade IQL is 228.5 inches long, eclipsing both the regular Escalade IQ as well as the gasoline-powered Escalade ESV, which places it as the longest SUV available.
This extension adds on another 4.4 inches of legroom in the third row for a total of 36.7 inches and adds headroom to 38.2 inches. Cargo space also increases with 24.2 cubic feet behind the third row and opens up to 75.4 cubic feet when the third row is folded.
Design and Features
Keeping with the boxy design of the Escalade line, however, the IQL adds some innovative design flourishes, specifically on the C-pillar area, to handle its added length.
Inside, you’ll find a 55-inch screen stretching across the dashboard and seating capacity for seven people. A 21-speaker AKG sound system comes standard, but upgrades are available for either a 38-speaker or even a 42-speaker system in the Executive Second Row package. WOW.
Additional amenities such as 12.6-inch rear-seat monitors for second-row guests and power-heated and ventilated, plus massaging second-row seats feel like the icing on a cake.
Performance and Charging
The Escalade IQL has a twin-motor setup with 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque, giving a claimed 0 to 60 mph time of 4.7 seconds. It contains a 205 kWh battery pack and an estimated 460-mile range. It comes equipped with DC fast charging capacity of 350 kW, so it can refill its battery for around 116 miles in only 10 minutes.
Moreover, the IQL comes with bi-directional charging capacity, which allows it to send power back to a house if it is paired with the GM Energy V2H Bundle.
Pricing and Availability
Production of the Cadillac Escalade IQL will commence in mid-2025 at Detroit's GM Factory Zero facility. The SUV will come in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport
