Conditions for Obtaining the Discount
The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols at Abu Dhabi Police has set a series of conditions to process the traffic fine reductions:
- The individual must personally visit the Customer Happiness Center of Abu Dhabi Police.
- It is necessary to bring personal identification, a driving license, and vehicle ownership documents.
- Visit the fines payment officer to obtain a list of all registered (unpaid) violations.
- Proceed to the designated officer to submit the request for converting fines to the Traffic Prosecution.
Procedures After Submitting the Request
The following day, the applicant must visit the main building of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police to confirm receipt of their request and obtain a reference number for the discount application.
Afterward, they should head to the Traffic Prosecution office located in the same building to receive a 25% discount on traffic fines and parking violations on the same day.
