30% Discount on Bus Fares for Ajman Students
New Initiative from Ajman Transport Authority
The Ajman Transport Authority (ATA) has exciting news for high school and university students in Ajman. They will soon receive a 30% discount on bus fares within the emirate.
This initiative is part of the latest updates from the authority. In a recent announcement, the ATA also revealed the establishment of a fund worth 4 million dirhams to create 72 new bus stations across the city.

Statements from Officials
Omar bin Umair Al Muhairi, Director General of Ajman Transport Authority (ATA), stated, "The 30% discount is aimed at supporting youth and encouraging them to enhance the expanding public transportation system in the emirate. The addition of new bus stations will increase the total number of bus stations in the city to 135 stations, covering 50% of the area."
New Investments in Transportation
Earlier, the Ajman Transport Authority (ATA) announced a transport project valued at 50 million dirhams, with part of the investment allocated for the purchase of 40 new buses and the development of new stations.
In addition to the improvements implemented in the bus transport system, the Ajman Transport Authority is also working on introducing new hybrid vehicles to the Sawari limousine service fleet.
