Challenges of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic presents significant and challenging obstacles for everyone, including our company, government, health systems, families, and the economy. Our daily lives have been dramatically affected, leading to changes such as working from home and children attending online classes instead of going to school. It is essential to take care of our bodies, eat healthy, and strengthen our immune systems through daily physical exercise while remaining flexible and adapting to our new lifestyle.
Appreciation for Frontline Workers
I am fully confident that our leadership measures will mitigate the impact on our wonderful country, and we will emerge from this situation sooner rather than later. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the frontline workers who have been and continue to protect us, including the immense contributions from police, civil defense, and healthcare staff in our community of the UAE, supporting and containing this virus for the well-being of us all.
Al-Futtaim Auto's Safety Measures
As a precautionary and preventive measure, Al-Futtaim Auto has implemented numerous initiatives to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, aligning our operations with government guidelines. To support our clients during this difficult time, we have expanded our services as follows:
- Customer Vehicle Maintenance: Without the need for them to leave their homes (pickup and return service).
- Home Drive Experience: Test drives at the convenience of the customer's home.
- Use of "SANI-CAR": A highly effective stabilized aqueous ozone (SAO) solution, which is a safe and environmentally friendly disinfectant that does not use toxic chemicals that could harm the interior materials. We will clean all interior surfaces using SAO to ensure all viruses and bacteria are eliminated.
Appreciation for Employees
I commend all employees who have worked tirelessly over the past two weeks, especially those on the front lines who interacted with customers to ensure operations and customer service continuity.
