Models Expected at Launch

The exclusive dealer is all set to establish a compendium of flamboyant dealerships with the maiden one opening its doors to the public this year. A roster of four SUV models - VF6, VF7, VF8 and VF9, each pertinent to a different segment will occupy center stage on the showroom floor. While their purposes are different, each model assures a unique design with signature VinFast traits and an interior built on the foundation of minimalism and elegance. Other models have been slated to debut later.

Retail Network Plans

It is likely that besides physical retail, Al Tayer Motors will create a digital platform and an app for customers to view its product offensive, interact and acquire valuable intel about the cars. In the current age, it is only conspicuous to offer such conveniences to keep its clientele informed.

It is also learnt that the dealerships will standalone exclusively with VinFast models, unlike Al Tayer Motors’ current retail layout where Ford and Lincoln cars are sold side-by-side. This is expected to be a robust bedrock in creating a distinct identity for VinFast brand.

Partnership Between VinFast and Al Tayer Motors

Ta Xuan Hien, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Middle East, said: “The agreement with Al Tayer Motors is an important milestone in VinFast’s global market expansion strategy. We believe this reputable and experienced partner will help VinFast bring the highest quality products and services to customers in the UAE. VinFast is committed to providing customers with smart and environmentally friendly EV mobility options while contributing to the country’s sustainable development goals.”

In its 40-year pedigree, Al Tayer Motors has sold cars, trucks, commercial applications and luxury gasoline automobiles. However, with the induction of VinFast in its scope, it aims to contribute towards achieving the country’s sustainable development goals while offering an experience that is flanked by several nuances.

Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer of Al Tayer Motors, said: “We are excited to launch VinFast in the UAE – a very vibrant international hub. We believe the partnership between Al Tayer Motors and VinFast will offer the ultimate EV experience to UAE customers while amplifying the brand globally. With our extensive expertise, dedicated teams, and customer-centric approach, we make car ownership easier than ever and set best practices on a local and global level.”

VinFast and Sustainability

Foray of VinFast might play an instrumental role in achieving UAE’s vision of proliferating the share of electric vehicles to an astounding 50-percent by 2050 and promote green mobility as it claims to be far less detrimental than conventional ICE vehicles.

The novel brand has kept its ambitions surging and besides UAE, it is set to make its presence in nations of India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and African markets. Here, the brand is expected to give strong competition to the likes of EV brands such as BYD, Tesla and other automakers who have introduced some electric models and are transitioning towards becoming full-fledged EV manufacturers and retailers.

VinFast has rapidly attracted a strong customer base in the US, Canada and the UK and ascertaining the euphoria around growing presence of EVs, it is likely to achieve commendable feats in the UAE too.
