Today at the Balocco test track, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA was revealed, alongside its more aggressive sibling, the GTAm. The Giulia GTA pays homage to the legendary model first introduced in 1965, marking a significant milestone in the brand's history.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA represents a genuine return to the brand's roots, which was established 111 years ago, embracing the worlds of performance and touring cars.

Experiences at the Balocco Track

It was fitting for the official launch to take place at the historic Balocco Proving Ground in Vercelli, where the original Giulia Sprint GTA was developed in the 1960s. This 60-year-old venue is where all Alfa Romeo vehicles are tested and developed.

At this very location, journalists had the opportunity to test the new Alfa Romeo supercar and later enjoyed its performance on a scenic route that stretched from the Vercelli countryside to Ivrea Moren and Lago di Viverone in the foothills of the Alps.
