Toyota Bahrain, part of Ebrahim K. Kanoo, announced the vehicle's launch at an event held at the Toyota showroom in Sitra, attended by board members and senior executives.

The Land Cruiser Prado has established itself as a leader in the SUV sector, offering exceptional capabilities for driving even in the harshest conditions. Notably, the development team has introduced a new concept for this model, marking a return to the Prado's deep-rooted heritage with a vehicle that is seamless, durable, and practical to suit customers' lifestyles.
Powertrains and Performance
To elevate the driving experience, the Land Cruiser Prado comes with a new range of powertrains that combine strong performance with environmental efficiency. The first option includes:
- A 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, generating up to 278 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
- A 2.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, producing up to 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, also connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
For the first time, the Land Cruiser Prado is equipped with Electric Power Steering (EPS), which reduces the likelihood of losing steering control while driving off-road.
