Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority’s Licensing agency will start giving out “New Driver” warning stickers that should be placed on the windscreen of cars driven by new licensed drivers. This plan will start to be carried out in the last quarter of the year.

Sultan Al Marzouqi, director of the drivers' licensing department at the agency, said in Al Ittihad newspaper, that the stickers will be distributed once the license is issued for new drivers of all ages, which the sticker states “New Driver”.

He also added that the idea of these warning stickers is to contribute to ensuring road safety, but the purchase and usage of the stickers will remain optional.
