2015 KIA Sorento launched in UAE

KIA Motors, in association with Al Majid Motors, held media event for the official launch of the all new KIA Sorento in UAE. The third-generation of this popular SUV was unveiled to the media and other VIPs in a lavish banquet held at the prestigious Ritz Carlton Dubai.
Coming to the car itself; the all-new Sorento is KIAs way of entering the “affordable-premium” segment by providing high-tech features (albeit most of them are optional upgrades) at a reasonable price. The highlights of the new Sorento include the following:
- Longer, wider and lower than the previous gen
- Muscular looks
- 2 engine options: 170BHP 2.4 liter and 265BHP 3.3 liter V6
- 6 speed auto transmission
- Variable drive modes
- Heated/Ventilated seats
- Adaptive headlights
- AUX/USB/Bluetooth/Seat Memory
- 5 or 7 seats
- Cruise control
- Blind spot and Lane departure warning
- Rear cross-traffic alert
- 6 airbags
- Smart tailgate
Prices start from AED 87,000 for 2.4 liter base model and top at AED 130,000 for 3.3 liter engine. The top of the range model has all the aforementioned safety features included as standard.
