2015 Toyota Avanza Debuts in Bahrain

Toyota Avanza quietly debuted in Bahrain last week, before any of the other GCC countries. This is a 7 seater MPV model equipped with a 1.5 liter engine that delivers 102 HP and mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. It seems the engine size could be bigger given it's a 7 seater, however Toyota claims the light weight of this new model will make driving more convenient and fuel efficient. This is one of the better looking MPVs in the market, apart from Honda Odyssey which we liked as well. Exterior highlights include front fog lamps, rear spoiler and 15 inch alloy wheels.
The interior comes with a 6 speaker sound system with MP3, AUX and iPod connections. In terms of safety features, the Avanza comes with dual passenger airbags, anti lock brakes (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist (BA). Price wise the Avanza starts at 5,700 BD and available at Ebrahim K Kanoo showrooms in Bahrain.
