2017 Audi TT RS Spy Shot

Beginning of March we told you about the new Audi Q2 that was launched at the Geneva Motor Show (You can click over here to view the full article about the launch), and now we’re bringing you the leaked spy shot of the high-performance model from Audi Sport division, the new TT RS.

Audi launched the R8 supercar recently (Check out the specs of R8 coupe over here), so this will be next in line. We are not too sure about how soon that would be, but it is expected to debut later this year. Now let’s have a look at the version that has been spotted.

We owe our gratitude to Instagram user autogespot_spain, who posted a photo of the car at a gas station in Granada, Spain. After several camouflaged car spy shots we finally get to see the aggressive new bumper of the new TT RS.

The new TT RS will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5L inline-5 including a standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Coming to the horsepower, it is expected to exceed the previous model’s horsepower which was around 360 bhp. Will the new TT RS reach 400 bhp? We’ll have to wait to be sure. But it is pretty much the same formula as the previous car, which we must add is one impressive monster.

Rumors say it won’t offer a manual transmission like its predecessor. The new TT RS will most probably come exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Well, that’s a bummer for sure!

I guess we’ll have to wait for the debut to confirm all the rumors and information. But at least we finally got to see it bare-faced now! Stay tuned for any updates.
