2017 Genesis G90 launched with specs

Hyundai's all-new luxury brand got its first public preview at the Detroit Motor Show. The showcasing product was the all-new G90. This is the replacement of the Hyundai Equus. Right now, the Genesis brand has just one model which forms the flagship offering from Hyundai. The idea is to have 5 more Genesis models by 2020. 

This new G90 will be available at the end of this year as the 2017 model. The highlights are as follows:

- 2 engine options: 3.3 liter V6 and 5.0 liter V8

- 365 BHP / 376 lb-ft torque from the V6 and 420 BHP / 383 lb-ft torque from the V8

- RWD or AWD

- 8 speed automatic transmission

- 19" alloys

- Weighs 5335 lbs

- Italian leather and real wood trim

- 12.3" display

- Wireless charging

- Lexicon sound system

- All standard premium safety features

Pricing is yet to be announced but expect to be a little more than the Equus.
