The Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 is a performance sedan that belongs to the D-segment of the market and one that rivals the likes of the BMW 340i and the Lexus IS 350 F Sport. Introduced at the Dubai Autodrome to the regional media, the Red Sport 400 delivers an empowering and rewarding experience between the wheel.

Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 power plant from the VR engine series that directs 400 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, the Japanese performance sedan hits the 100 km/h mark in a claimed 5.1 seconds and bears a top speed of 250 km/h. However, judging the Q50 based on performance figures alone, would defeat the purpose.

“The Q50 Red Sport 400 is the first vehicle launched in the region encompassing our new ‘Empower The Drive’ brand positioning,” said Juergen Schmitz, Managing Director, Infiniti Middle East.

Possessing a 100-horspeower advantage over the Q50 Sport, the Red Sport 400’s differentiator is its phenomenally crafted and well balanced chassis. Working harmoniously with the brand’s Dynamic Digital Suspension (DDS), the Q50 offers remarkable levels of steering response and handling agility when driven enthusiastically.

In addition to a plethora of Drive Modes (Standard, Eco, Snow, Sport, Sport+, Personal) the second generation of the Direct Adaptive Steering system offers feel and feedback that is more akin to a traditional steering system.
