First introduced in 2009, the Chevrolet Traverse was the ubiquitous family wagon in the brand’s Crossover lineup. Now, with the all-new 2018 Traverse, Chevrolet is at it again – only this time, with a larger model.

It isn’t just the physical dimensions that has gotten bigger, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse is also packing more tech, and a family-pleasing exterior design. The new model gets a more squared off stance, no matter which angle you look at it from. The big hexagonal chrome grille at the front are flanked by stylish, sleek headlamps, but in general, the front looks beefier than before.

The sides are dominated by a strong character line that runs from the headlamps to the rear lights. Flared wheel arches are also quite apparent, contributing to a rugged-looking side profile and also lending the 2018 Traverse a more purposeful stance over the previous gen car. The rear fascia gets restyled bumpers, taillights, and a beefier tailgate.

Power for the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse comes in the form of a 3.6-liter V6 engine that meats out 310 HP and 351 Nm of torque. It sends this to either the front wheels only (on base models) or through an all-wheel drive system, via a standard 9-speed automatic transmission. Top speed of this 2.1-ton crossover is 210 km/h, while the 0-100 km/h run takes 6.7 seconds.
