2018 Ferrari Portofino stuns at Dubai Motor Show

A 2+2 hard-top convertible, the Ferrari Portofino replaces the popular California T in the brand’s line-up and packs a feisty 3.9-liter twin-turbo engine that allows it to hit a jaw-dropping top speed of 320 km/h. The most affordable Ferrari on sale, the Portofino is also arguably the most stylish Ferrari on sale.

Borrowing design cues from the fastest and most powerful Ferrari to date (the 812 Superfast), the Portofino makes quite a case for itself, especially when backed by immense amounts of performance. An evolution of the California T, the Italian sports car is different yet instantly recognizable.
Pushing out 40 horsepower more than the California T that it replaces, the Portofino pushes the boundaries of excitement to deliver 592 horsepower and a remarkable 760 Nm of torque. Affordable yet potent, the newest entrant to the brand’s line-up dispatches a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in a very respectable 3.5-seconds.

Paying close attention to aerodynamic efficiency, the 2018 Ferrari Portofino is underscored by a new headlight that hides an innovative air intake, which vents into the front wheel arch and exits along the flank to reduce drag. The tail design further enhances downforces with lightweight RHT that can be raised or lowered at low speeds.
