Introduced to the world with a Guinness Record and barrel roll in July, the Jaguar E Pace is the smallest SUV in the brand’s line-up and shares its underpinnings with the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport. Designed by Ian Callum, the E Pace stands at 4.4 meters long and borrows design cues from its larger sibling, the F Pace.

Mirroring the driver-centric cabin of the Jaguar F Type, the E Pace balances sportiness and luxuriousness with stitched leather and aluminum pedals for a trendy yet inviting ambiance. Concealed beneath its sculpted hood, is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that generates 296 horsepower and an impressive 400 Nm of torque.

When pushed to its limits, the compact crossover dispatches a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in 6.4-seconds and bears a top speed of 243 km/h. Driven sedately, however, the small displacement allows the E Pace to average 8.0-liters / 100 kilometers – a figure that is comparable to its segment leaders.
