2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante revealed at Dubai Motor Show

Posted by Zaran Tarapore on Nov 27, 2017

The most extreme Huracan to date, the Performante sets the standards for performance and thrills in its segment. Featuring a host of aesthetic upgrades that help distinguish it from the standard model, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante is a road-legal race car that packs a powerful V10 engine and puts out a whopping 640 horsepower.

Keen-eyed enthusiasts will notice the carbon fiber skirts and new rear spoiler, while the central positioning of the exhaust is bound to turn an even greater number of heads. Accompanying the digital speedometer that has been borrowed from the Aventador SV, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante is backed by a soundtrack like no other.

A significant forty kilograms lighter than the standard model, the Performante makes its sporting aspirations known with stiffer springs and roll bars, in addition to a Dynamic Steering that has been recalibrated for greater and more precise feedback.

Helping it set a Nurburgring lap time of six minutes and fifty-two seconds, is a 5.2-liter screamer that churns out 640 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque to an all-wheel-drive system through a 7-speed automatic transmission. When given the beans, the Italian beauty will hit 100 km/h in 2.9-seconds, 200 km/h in 8.9-seconds, and a ludicrous top speed of 325 km/h.
