Unveiled three years ago, at the Beijing International Auto Exhibition, the Lexus NX is the luxury marque’s answer to its compact crossover calling. Futuristically sculpted and tremendously chiseled, the bodywork of the Lexus NX is composed of sharp contours and bulging panels, resulting in a silhouette that is an unmistakable sight on the roads of the Middle East. Although lightyears ahead of its rivals in the design department, the 2018 NX is set to visit the surgeons and undergo a little nip and tuck before its glorious Shanghai reveal in April.

With online forums rife with speculation, the only teaser image released by Lexus reveals a redesigned headlamp cluster and tweaked body panels being affixed to the existing bodywork. Unlikely to be anything more than reshaped bumpers and new wheel designs, the NX retains its iconic LED Daytime Running Lights and protruding spindle grille.
