Having rearranged the body panels of its Panamera sedan to create the world’s most exotic luxury sport wagon, the German manufacturer has given birth to its striking range of Sport Turismo models. A cross between a hatchback and a wagon, the Sport Turismo is different, without losing any of its Porsche appeal.

Taking on the likes of the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, the 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo (when specced in Turbo guise) whips out a berserk 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 allows the German stunner to hit 100 km/h in 3.8-seconds and a top speed of 304 km/h.

Aesthetically unchanged for the most part, the Sport Turismo drops the bulbous silhouette of the standard model for one that is evidently sharper. Tauter and benefitting from a rear spoiler, it is unlikely that anyone apart from ardent Porsche fans will be able to distinguish the Sport Turismo from the car that it is based on, at first glance.

Immaculately designed and distinctly sporty - as a Porsche should be - the cabin of the Panamera Sport Turismo is an amalgamation of tradition and modern design. Holding on the cockpit aura of its predecessor, it is both spacious and extremely luxurious.
