2019 BMW X5 launched in the UAE

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group products for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, introduced the all-new 2019 BMW X5 to customers and members of the press at its showroom in Sharjah. One of the most popular BMW models in the Middle East, the X5 has earned its reputation for its versatility, sovereignty and luxury, and the all-new model takes it up a notch.

Compared to its predecessor, the 2019 BMW X5 has grown in all dimensions while still retaining its character and proportions. Its design language has become more athletic, with more clearly defined surfaces and even more precise lines; the signature sculpted bonnet has a muscular appearance, and the front overhang is even shorter than the previous model.

Launched with two engine options, the all-new X5 is available with a sensible 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit that produces 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, or a more powerful 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine that pushes out 462 horsepower to all four corners. The suspension set-up is tuned to deliver a fine balance of comfort and agility with a dynamic steering and engaging drive.

For those who wish to take on lesser travelled paths, the 2019 X5 is available with an off-road package that includes air suspension on both axles, underbody protection at the front and rear, and specific displays in the instrument cluster and Control Display. Additionally, a choice of four driving modes optimize the responses of the stability control system, transmission and accelerator pedal to suit driving on sand, rocks, gravel, or snow.

Prices for the all-new X5 start at AED 391,000 in the UAE.
