2019 Toyota Avalon launched in the UAE

With automobile manufacturers from around the globe introducing new vehicles on a weekly basis into the Middle Eastern auto landscape, standing out and doing something memorable is a challenge most face. Not Toyota though, for to celebrate the launch of its flagship sedan, the 2019 Avalon, it created a unique set-up with one of the prestigious Bvlgari Villas in Dubai converted into The House of Avalon.

Defining the brand’s future direction, the fifth-generation Toyota Avalon receives a complete makeover spearheaded by Randy Stephens, the Chief Engineer of the Avalon, who was present in the UAE for the press launch. Building on the successes of previous models, the all-new Avalon builds on two key principles: Authenticity and Exhilaration.

Built on the TNGA platform, which it shares with the all-new Camry, the Avalon provides a comfortable and stable ride with superior handling characteristics. Power is derived from the tried and tested 3.5-liter V6, that is both powerful and fuel efficient too. Thanks to its modular underpinnings, the Avalon is lower, longer, and wider than before, with the prominent grille and LED headlights catching most gazes.

Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Toyota, said, “We are extremely pleased to launch the much anticipated 2019 Toyota Avalon in the UAE.  Everything about this car from the luxurious details and interior comfort, to the smart safety features and the enhanced technology, will take the Toyota driving experience to a new level.”

Striking a smooth connection between a stylish exterior and interior, the Avalon’s cabin is accentuated with an enhanced 9-inch multimedia display, a 10-inch adjustable heads-up display, wireless charging system for smartphones, ambient illumination, dual-zone air conditioning system, 14-speaker JBL surround sound system, and multi-adjustable ventilated front seats.

The 2019 Avalon is available across all Al-Futtaim Toyota showrooms for AED 144,900 including VAT for the SE+ model and AED 164,900 for the Limited grade.
