Al Futtaim Motors, the official distributor for Toyota vehicles in the UAE, has introduced the newest addition to the luxury people mover market, the 2020 Granvia. Launched at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, the Granvia caters to the growing demand for high-end shuttles. With its bold styling, luxurious interior and host of safety features, the Granvia is perfectly suited for large families and corporate travel alike.

Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Toyota, said: “For all of our models, it is our goal to give people the most enjoyable journey possible. With the 2020 Toyota Granvia, we are offering an exceptional vehicle that enhances the experience for everyone on board by ensuring you always arrive relaxed and refreshed. The new Granvia is perfect for changing customer values and we are equipped to meet the demands of luxury lifestyles.”

With seating for six, including four captain’s chairs as standard – a first in class – the Granvia includes adjustable interior illumination, fine woodgrain trim and metallic finishing, as well as rear air conditioning that incorporates ion generators with nanotechnology to help remove bacteria and odours. Driver assistance technologies include a 4.2-inch display in the instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch infotainment unit, multifunctional steering wheel and a digital rear-view mirror for uncompromised visibility.

Powering the Granvia is a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine that generates 278 horsepower and 351 Nm of torque while being mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. With a stiff frame coupled to MacPherson strut front suspension and a four-link rear, the Granvia delivers a smooth and stable driving experience.

Prices for the 2020 Toyota Granvia start at AED 177,000 with leather seats, a rearview camera, cruise control, 17-inch wheels, LEDs, parking sensors and hill-assist control. The fully loaded variant, which costs AED 199,900, is fitted with quilted Ottoman leather seats, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure assist, surround-view camera, digital rearview mirror, pre-crash system and an electrically operated side door.
