After a relatively long wait, the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has officially been launched in the Middle East and has begun to make an appearance at showrooms across the region. As per word on the ground, it is only the Coupe version of the C8 Corvette that is currently on sale with the Convertible set to make its debut at a later date.

Although pricing isn’t public as yet, we do know that four versions of the famed sports car will be available, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and the optional Z51 Performance Package. As for colors, new shades of the Red Mist Tintcoat and Silver Flare are also available while customers can further customize their cars with the Full-Length Dual Racing Stripe or the Carbon Flash Racing Stripe packages.

“The mid-engine design not only unlocks enhanced levels of performance but also demands a complete redesign of the entire vehicle,” head of brand at Chevrolet Middle East Farah Amhaz said in a statement. “The powerful all-new LT2 V8 engine takes center stage as an integral part of the design, a tribute to the fastest and most powerful Corvette Stingray ever created. We are sure our regional customers will love the 2020 Corvette Stingray and we can’t wait to get them behind the wheel.”

Power in the all-new Corvette is provided by a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 that delivers 495 hp and 637 Nm with the available performance exhaust system.
