Jeep seems to be spotlight more often than ever before and this time around it is for the reveal of the upcoming Grand Wagoneer. After numerous rumors and teasers, the reveal for the eagerly anticipated model has been set to 3rd September, with Jeep making the most of it by revealing two new pictures.

While additional information is still being held tightly under wraps, the images reveal that the Grand Wagoneer will have a wide seven-slot grille with bold chrome accents. Rumor has it that they are housed behind a transparent cover with small openings at the bottom.

The second picture reveals the center console with a glossy surface that reflects a rotary controller with a knurled finish. Of course, both these images follow earlier teasers which showed the luxury SUV with American flag graphics, as well as an upscale interior with wood trim.

The Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer will both slot above the Grand Cherokee and be based on the same platform that underpins the RAM 1500. As with the platform, engine options are also believed to be shared, meaning we can expect a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 305 HP and a 5.7-liter V8 that develops 395 HP.
