24-hour car repair soon in Abu Dhabi

Adnoc and Abu Dhabi traffic licensing authorities are thinking of introducing a new which is operating repair bays 24-hours at car checkup stations to lessen the crowding when motorists go to renew the registrations for their vehicles.

It has been confirmed by Col Suheil Al Khaili, head of the vehicles and drivers licensing department at Abu Dhabi Police, that a meeting has been assembled with officials in Adnoc discussing the initiation of this new service at Abu Dhabi City's main checkup station on Muroor Road, as reported by Al Ittihad newspaper.

Because of the rapid demographic growth, licensed vehicles number has doubled in the emirate during the past couple of years, which is now around 830,000, according to Col Al Khaili.
