A three languages transport code has been issued by the Sharjah Public Transport Corporation to improve communication with staff drivers. The instructional guide comes in Arabic, English and Urdu, to help drivers better comply with the rules and regulations of the emirate.

100 drivers have been honored by the corporation at the fourth annual forum held at Sharjah Transport’s new headquarters at Al Ezra area.

Sharjah Transport Director-General Abdullah Al Zari said “With the Dh100,000 earmarked for honouring better performing drivers, we want to provide the best services to our customers and passengers that touched the 55 million mark in 2012,” adding that a lot of suggestions, complaints and inquiries have been sent to their call center from the public and that they will professionally sort them out and handle them within 48 hours.
