The 11:00 AM start on a sunny Saturday morning, was inaugurated with a warm welcome from the team and a Formula One Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk. Allowing us and other diehard fans the opportunity to get up-close and personal with drivers and their machines moments before the practice session, it truly was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Following the Formula One Third Practice Session at 2:00 PM, the Qualifying Session at 5:00 PM was exhilarating and an aural treat for all in the crowd, young and old. Although Jolyon Palmer and Kevin Magnussen weren’t as lucky as Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, the sportsmanship shared is well worth highlighting.
