A Jaguar SUV to be revealed

Several years ago, a rumor started going around that Jaguar will be making an SUV or crossover, but this has never been proved until some images of it has been leaked. A few weeks ago, it was revealed that the British automaker will be making an announcement at the upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The new concept is officially named C-X17 and will be revealed the night before. The pictures show that it will be a muscular crossover with a tail-light design that is similar to the ones found on Jaguar’s F-Type sports car.
The vehicle will be using a platform composed of lightweight aluminum and is believed to be a variation of Jaguar Land Rover’s Premium Lightweight Architecture (PLA) that debuted in the latest Range Rover SUV.
