A Look At Hyundai Tucson 2015

Posted by Mohammad Issa on Feb 11, 2015

When Kia declared bankruptcy in 1997, Hyundai made a move to acquire the company, and eventually out bided Ford for the 51% stake in Kia, which turned out to be one of the smartest moves Hyundai did in its history.

The main benefit of the acquisition was that both companies now share the same platforms, only with different stylings, and now Kia is being marketed as the sportier, more youthful brand. On the other hand, Hyundai is being marketed as the refined more stylish and comfortable of the two.

The current and second generation Hyundai Tucson was launched in 2010 and shares its platform with the third generation Kia Sportage, with the main competition being the Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape and the Honda CR-V.
