The seventh generation Nissan Sentra was introduced in 2013, although the Sentra was basically a rebadged Nissan Sunny until 2006. The Sentra name plate now is a different model from the Sunny and positioned at a higher level than the Sunny, although both compete in the same segment but with different price levels.
