A peak at the new Mercedes-Benz S Class 2014

The Mercedes-Benz S Class 2014 will reach the U.S. this coming September. It will have a 455 horspower, 516 pound-foot twin-turbo 4.6-liter V-8 engine, the S550 will hit 60 mph in an estimated 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph.
Daimler chairman and Mercedes-Benz chief Dr Dieter Zetsche, said “Rather than being about safety or aesthetics, power or efficiency, comfort or dynamism, our aspirations were ‘the best or nothing’ in every respect. No other car stands for the Mercedes-Benz brand promise more than the S-Class.”
Its style will be updated from previous versions; the nose, the grille, a chrome strip, headlights, windows and more, with a “visual breadth and calm solidity” theme from the inside.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the S Class’s secret combo consists of 3 engineering priorities: “Intelligent Drive,” “Efficient Technology,” and “Essence of Luxury.”
