Abu Dhabi Police extends discount period on traffic fines by 50% for an additional three months

Abu Dhabi Police announced yesterday its decision to extend the discount on traffic violations for another three months, as the discount period was scheduled to end on the 22nd of this month, but the authorities have seen that this step will make it easier for motorists to pay their violations easily and conveniently.
The 50% off on violations goes back to last December, where people who had received violations before December 22 could benefit from a 50% discount and avoid impoundment or black points for three months. There were 35% discounts for those who paid their fines within 60 days and 25% discounts for those who left them for longer than 60 days.
The discount that was scheduled to end on March 22nd has been extended to June 22nd this year.
