AGMC held an exclusive event for the launch of their new facility in Dubai Motor City. This project was envisioned about a year back. The event was held at the Kempinski Hotel and was attended by journalists from all over UAE. This was AGMC’s way of holding a press conference to interact with members of the media. The speakers who were present at the press conference were Stathis I. Stathis (Managing Director of Al Batha Automotive Group), Johannes Seibert (Managing Director of BMW Group Middle East) and Osman Abdel Monien (General Manager of AGMC).

Coming to the new facility, well, the location is in Dubai Motor City. It will be dedicated to BMW & MINI models. The facility has an investment of 200 million AED. They plan to start developing in July this year and finish it by third quarter of 2017. The whole idea is to enhance their foothold in Dubai.  The state of the art facility will be covering 100,000 sq ft of space.

The building will be constructed using materials that are friendly to the environment and once the building is developed, it will be very eco-friendly in the way it runs on a day to day basis. Moreover, the developers are bringing a new concept for furniture within this building. Other than that, you will find lots of glass and leather everywhere.

This facility is dedicated to the premium customers residing in Dubai Motor City and Arabian Ranches. It makes sense because most of Dubai’s high life lives in such areas. AGMC claims this facility will be tailored to families more than any showroom currently in UAE. In other words, the facility will have a café, kids area, roof-top terrace for events, 300 car park spaces and 2 workshops consisting of many work bays.
Lastly, this will be the first ever showroom in Motor City. AGMC says via this showroom, the customers will be able to test drive the  BMW on the race track to feel the car’s dynamic performance. This is a first-of-its-kind concept introduced in the UAE. There will also be a mobile app that will let you customize your BMW through a configurator.
