Al-Futtaim Lexus launches Lexus Connect Service in UAE

Connected car tech is very popular nowadays. Brought into light by Tesla, these days owners want to control their car from everywhere by just a tap on their phone. 

Seeing this increased demand for connected car tech, Al-Futtaim Lexus has launched Lexus Connect Service in the UAE in collaboration with Etisalat. This service will let Lexus owners control their whole car via the convenience of an app on their mobile phone. 

The service lets owners access their dashboard virtually and check things like their trip history, driving data statistics and their driving behaviour. The air conditioning of the car can be controlled remotely via the control climate control feature on the app.

Another big feature offered by this new facility is that one can find their Lexus no matter how far they are from it. Locating it will be easier as the car’s location will be shown on a map. In case of a theft, the app will alert the owners thereby giving them a peace of mind. The Lexus "e-Care" vehicle condition monitoring service tells the owner about any malfunctions in the car which owners can report and get round-the-clock assistance anywhere in the UAE.
