Al Futtaim Lexus opens new 3S facility in the UAE

Al-Futtaim Lexus, the official importer-dealer for Lexus vehicles in the UAE, has announced the launch of its biggest and greenest 3S (Sales, Service and Spare parts) facility in the country. Keeping in line with the brand’s commitment to eco-conservation, the new facility has been opened in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) and covers a sprawling 5,700 square meters.
With 192 parking bays, three receiving/delivery bays that can hold up to nine vehicles at a time, two car wash bays and 24 workshop bays, this all-new facility is unlike any before it. Building on its eco credibility, the 3S facility also provides secure bicycle racks within a shaded area for the convenience of those who live nearby.

Commenting on the opening, Mohammed Maktari, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Lexus, said, “This is a proud moment for Lexus in the UAE. Built around several sustainable initiatives, the new 3S facility features some great additions such as:
SOLAR PANELS
The facility has been fitted with solar panels that help reduce power by 768,398 kWh each year.
RECYCLED CARPET SYSTEM
The carpet used for the flooring across facility is made from the recycled material that has been certified by Dubai Municipality.
WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM
The car wash bays are equipped with wastewater treatment and recycling system that helps reduce water consumption and wastage.
NATURAL DAYLIGHT – SUN TUBES
The rooftop of the workshop is fitted with sun tubes that provide adequate natural lighting, equivalent to LED lights and help reduce consumption of electricity during the day.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION AND PARKING
The facility is equipped with four Electric Vehicle parking slots to promote and facilitate the usage of electric vehicles to protect the environment.
