All new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Light Duty

The all new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Light Duty (LD) delivers more torque, more power and improved fuel efficiency, and that’s partly because of the trio of the all new ExoTec3 engines that are designed specifically for the needs of the customers.
The new engines include a 4.3 L V6, a 5.3 L V8 and a 6.2 L V8.
EcoTec3 engines features 3 technologies to make the most out of the power, torque and efficiency, which are the direct injection, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing.
Jordan Lee, Small Block chief engineer and program manager said: “We believe these are the most technologically advanced engines ever offered in light-duty pickups, and they are 100 percent truck – specifically designed for the way customers use trucks in the real world.”
