All-new Chevrolet Traverse launched in the Middle East with Bold Looks and new RS version

Chevrolet has further strengthened its SUV lineup in the Middle East with the 2022 version of the Traverse. The standard features list remains pretty rich on the Traverse with stuff like Multicolor driver information center display, Tri-zone automatic climate control, Bose premium 10-speaker audio system and Power liftgate available on the base model.

The LS and LT Trims have got a special Midnight edition for 2022 which gets a black ice grille, black roof rails, black-painted aluminum wheels and black Chevy bowtie with deep Mosaic Black paint. There’s also a Redline Edition on the Premier trim which has black wheels with red hash marks, black nameplates having a red outline, and a blacked-out grille and black Chevrolet bowtie logos just like the Midnight Edition.

The most exciting of all the trims is the RS that adds a whole new sporty dimension to the Traverse lineup. It has a “performance-inspired” mesh grille, front splitter, and RS badging. Under the hood, the Traverse RS packs a meaty 3.6L V6 engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. In the additional ergonomic features department, the RS gets wireless charging.

The interior across all the trims features an 8-inch Driver Infotainment Center, a Dual Skyscape sunroof and jet-black leather seats. Other welcome additions on the new Traverse are LED headlamps, LED daytime driving lights and taillamps.

Sharon Nishi, Chief Marketing Officer, GM Middle East commented: The Midnight and Sports Editions add a new look for LS and LT trims, and the Redline Edition adds a variety of upgrades inside and out to make the Traverse stand out even more. While the launch of the all-new RS trim revolutionizes options for the adventurous family who want a stunning SUV that makes no compromise on performance, technology and safety.”
