Another Ferrari Titled The World’s Most Expensive Car

Another Ferrari 250 GTO has been claimed the title of the world’s most expensive car, and this time it’s a 1963 250 GTO that was sold for $52 million.
The car is from the collection of Paul Pappalardo, and Pappalardo declined to comment when he was contacted.
Just a year ago, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $35 million, and before that a 1962 250 GTO that sold for $28.7 million and before that a 1957 Ferrari 250 Tesa Rossa sold for $16.4 million at a Pebble Beach auction.
As you can see, the Ferrari has a long history of record-breaking prices at private sale and auction.
