Aston Martin And Millions Of Pounds After Tax Loss

Posted by on Oct 10, 2013

This is not good news. Aston Martin has posted a 24.9-million pound after-tax loss in 2012. They mostly see recession and poor sales as the reason behind this huge loss. Also, due to late vehicle launches.

But there is some ray of hope – AMG. Yes, the deal signed with AMG will help them in reducing developmental cost as AMG will provide them with bespoke V8 powertrains and new architectures. Hence, the partnership with Ford for supplying parts for AM V8 and V12 engines will come to an end.

Although in AM’s case, financial troubles is not surprising, so we hope it’s another bump on the road for them and will recover soon. We can’t wait to see the fruits of AM-AMG collaboration.
