Aston Martin DBX makes Middle East debut

The SUV that you, I, and every other automotive fanatic has been waiting for, is finally here. Following in the footsteps of the Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, and the Maserati Levante, Aston Martin has revealed its first-ever SUV, the DBX, in the UAE. Making its first public appearance at the brand’s showroom in Downtown Dubai, the DBX signals a new era for the brand.
Combining the luxury and sportiness that Aston Martin is well-renowned for, along with the versatility and indulgence expected in a luxury SUV, the DBX sets a bold new standard in the premium SUV sector. Powered by a new version of the characterful 4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the DBX features an impressive output of 542 horsepower and 700NM of torque.
The turbocharged V8 has cylinder deactivation to enhance fuel economy, yet it can also propel the DBX from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 290 km/h. The DBX will be priced starting at AED 848,000 in the Middle East, with deliveries set to begin from late Q2 2020.
